ALEXANDRE HERBRECHT, STUDIO PONANT / OCEAN IMAGE BANK

The Polarr Ocean Image Collection brings together more than 500 high-quality images from the Arctic and Antarctica, capturing remote seascapes, glaciers, iconic wildlife, icebergs, and rarely seen underwater life. Available through the Ocean Image Bank, it provides a valuable resource for storytelling, education, and communication about the importance of the polar regions.

Curated by The Ocean Agency with support from PONANT Explorations Group and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), and aligned with the UN Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences, the collection is freely accessible for non-commercial use. It aims to raise awareness, support research, and inspire action to protect these rapidly changing environments.

The Polar Ocean Image Collection is made possible through support from the PONANT Foundation and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI).
